After this period, it should be remembered that not only the bulb needs to be replaced but also the igniter ballast circuit may be damaged in fluorescent and gas discharge bulbs.

In LED lighting, if a good thermal design is made and constant current driver circuits are used, the lifespan will be over 50,000 hours.
